Impromptu Picnic

Back to pre-vacation catch-up!

One afternoon in late July, when the weather was lovely but our home environment seemed kind of whiny/edgy (I'll leave you to guess who was which), I proposed that the kids get outside and let me prepare a lunch picnic for us. Because it's  a lot harder (though not impossible) to be whiny and edgy during a picnic, yes? I seem to recall that it took me forever to decide what I could serve, but finally, there we were...

I asked the three big kids why they were all cocking their heads to their left in this shot... they just shrugged.

I call this next set Los Wilcoxes en Nutella. (I'm not sure why the Spanish. It just came to me.)
