...I am reading the book of Job (didn't finish my Bible-reading plan last year, so onward I go) and for some reason am appreciating it so much more than ever before.
...I have completed about 60 loads of laundry. (Maybe less. But it feels like 60.)
...I have made one trip to the pediatrician. Meg has a double ear infection, but she's not in too much pain, for which I am grateful.
...I have begun to reread Stepping Heavenward, my favorite book of all time and probably an annual reread for me (give or take) for the last five years or so.
...I have written and sent 10 thank-you notes. Many more to come.
...I have one person the Lord seems to have laid on my heart to pray for in a concentrated way this year. This is someone who I haven't seen or heard from in years and probably would not normally pray for often.
...I have one lead on a "word for the year." Last year, inspired by my friends Trinity and Sandi, for the first time ever I asked the Lord to give me a word for the year. The word He seemed to supply was "wait." I'm still processing how that played out. This year's word... well, I have a little more praying to do before I share it.
...I have made 1 trip to the grocery store.
...I have no idea when Baby is going to make his appearance, but if I had to guess, I'd say it'll be at least a few more days. He still doesn't seem to be in a hurry.
...I have been comforted by the goodness, steadfast love and sovereignty of God. Oh, where would I be without Him in my life?
